Hands on

Last night the image of my tree came easily from the pen as is swooped and curved. It is a kind of cross between a lovely round Oak tree and a more leggy Horsechestnut.

On first glance this lacks balance but there is a symetry to it as the round side faces the East and has the sun and the longer taller part is to the west and has grown to find the sun.

I know what light it is in and what colours are present and what time of day will be used.

Tomorrow I visit a wood camera in hand but mostly with soft eyes to take in the Autumn and breath the leaves

Cutting out and sticking down is coming soon. I want to see what my first version will look like.  I know there will be more than one, before I am content.
